Established in 1986, Cosmoprof School of Beauty Therapy and Make-up
is one of Singapore's most established training institutions in
the provision of vocational training courses in aesthetics, beauty,
make-up, spa and wellness.
Since
our inception, Cosmoprof has attained many "firsts" in
the beauty, aesthetics, spa and make-up industries by achieving

to attain ISO 9002 Quality Certification for a beauty/make-up
academy. (1995)
- First
to be awarded Approved Training Provider status for Institute
of Education's Nitec in Spa and Aesthetics Therapy Course. (2002)
- First
to offer specialised spa training courses. (1998)
- First
and only Singapore company to provide make-up services to the
International Grand Finals of the Miss Universe Pageant. (1987)
- First
and only make-up school to be commissioned by the National Arts
Council to present our own Body Art, Air Brush Body Make-up Show
for the Singapore Festival of Arts, Fringe. ("Move to Make-up"
1992)
- First
to present and popularise Face Painting on a mass scale for Singaporeans
as an art form. (National Day Parade 1997)
- First
Make-up company, school to be awarded National Arts Council's
Arts Supporter Award. (2001)
- First
and only make-up school to accompany local theatre group to an
overseas performance. (Chang and Eng the Musical, Beijing, Bangkok
and Kuala Lumpur Seasons)

Cosmoprof School of Beauty Therapy is accredited with international
beauty associations like the British Association of Beauty Therapy
and Cosmetology and CIDESCO Switzerland to conduct courses leading
to diplomas that are well established and internationally recognised. |

Cosmoprof
is widely acknowledged to be Singapore's most established and premier
make-up training institute. We have built our reputation and credibility
through a solid foundation of make-up credits.
Cosmoprof
is the first to introduce Body Art, Face Painting, Air Brush Body
art in Singapore through our production "Move to Make-up"
which featured dancers dressed in Body Art instead of traditional
costumes. Commissioned by National Arts Council for the Singapore
Festival of Arts Fringe 1992.
Cosmoprof
is the first to introduce Face Painting to the masses through National
Day Parade 1997. A team of 150 make-up artists face painted spectators
at the parade, performers and contingents. Sponsored more than 80,000
face painting kits in 1997 and the same quantity at the 2001 National
Day Parade.
Cosmoprof
has been making up National Day Parade contingents since 1991.
Cosmoprof
has also been featured numerous times on television including episode
on Body Art, Special Effects Make-up on TCS's popular programme
"Things People Do". |
